Family Practice is dedicated treatment to patients of all ages. It is a form of Primary care that provides continuous health care for the individuals of any sex, age, disease and parts of the body. It is based on information about the patient, contexts of family history and location of the community. Emphasizes on preventing disease and promoting better health practices.

Omobola Oduntan, M.D., MPH, CHES

Dr. Oduntan is a Board Certified Family Practitioner.  She joined the MVA staff in 2010.  She received her Medical Degree from College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.  She received her Master’s in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University and is also a Certified Health Education Specialist.



Himanshu Paliwal, M.D., MPH

Dr. Paliwal, a Board Certified Family Practitioner, joined the MVA staff in 2010.  He received his medical degree at the Medical College Baroda in India.  He earned his Master’s in Public Health at Western Kentucky University.  Dr. Paliwal completed his residency in Family Medicine at Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.



Michael Schroering, M.D.

Dr. Schroering has been on staff at MVA since 1983. He is a Board Certified Family Practitioner specializing in Geriatrics. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Schroering sees patients at MVA Fairmont Clinic.




Natasha Benavides, P.A.-C

Ms. Benavides earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Alderson-Broaddus College. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science and an Associate’s Degree in Natural Science. She has been on staff at MVA since 2010.



Heather Vincent, P.A.-C

Ms. Vincent has been on staff at MVA since 2008.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Alderson-Broaddus.
